Invited Keynote Speakers
Dr. Teresa Eça
Teresa Eca is the President of the International Society for Education Through Arts (InSEA), a researcher at i2ADS University of Porto.
Patricia Leavy, PhD is widely considered the world’s most visible proponent of arts-based research as a means of making research publicly accessible.
Vedat Özsoy is a Professor of Art Education in the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture at the TOBB University of Economics and Technology, Ankara, Turkey.
Ken Cato is the Chairman of Cato Brand Partners. Founder and Chairman of Ideas on Design (IOD). He received an Officer of the Order of Australia (in the Queen’s Birthday Honors.
Andrew D. Watson is the Fine Arts Instructional Specialist for the Alexandria City Public Schools. He is the recipient of the 2015 Art Education Technology Outstanding Teacher Award from the National Art Education Association.
Justin P. Sutters is the Director and an Assistant Professor of the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) Program in Art Education at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
Asahiko Yamaki is a professor of Art Education at School of Art and Health Education, Naruto Education University, specializing in arts appreciation and art history.
